Thanks for dropping by. These days, it’s very hard for the average surfers to differentiate between a website and a blog. I guess it make no difference if you are at a website or a blog, as long as you can find what you are looking for there :)

It’s interesting that you talk about how the possible remit of a blog has evolved over time, so that we now see blogs on a range of topics, not just individuals’ lives.

I sometimes wonder if we’re conflating two separate ideas when we talk about blogging. On the one hand, a blog is thought of as a particular type of website – normally one that’s regularly updated, posts are usually displayed in reverse chronological order, etc. But on another level a blog is a type of technology, a tool that can be used on any site.

What’s the difference between a blog and any other website? Now that blogging is no longer solely personal, do you think that the distinction is starting to blur?
