I tend to stay away from directories – They are beginning to lose all of their value in quality. The two directories that are worth submitting to are: DMOZ and Yahoo's directory. I'm not so sure about the rest :)

This is great stuff. I am in the very beginning stages of blogging and it is often a daunting task trying to take in all the information that is out there. Trying to reach the most people while staying true to your purpose is tough. It takes time and patience... Two things we don't always have...

First time visitor! Great post and website… and I really enjoy the way you write.

Blogging takes a lot of consistent quality work and you need to market yourself wherever and whenever you can. As your blog grows and more and more people visit and interact with your blog, the more less like work it becomes and the more enjoyable it is… at least that is how it is for me.
