I noticed Google pagerank is updating when I visited Kevin Muldoon’s blog – Time To Tweet.
I was surprised to see that Time To Tweet now have a Google pagerank 2.
I know Time To Tweet has a PR0 yesterday so Google must be doing some pagerank updates.
The next blog I check have to be my own blog – EzyBlogger.
I’m surprised to see that EzyBlogger now have PR3 !! Cool.
I did some google search and yes many sites are saying Google is updating the pagerank.
The last pagerank update was in April and you can say that this round of updates is earlier than before where the updates are normally every 90 days or so.
A lot of people says that Google pagerank is not important – I agree but it does play a role to some extent.
Overall all my websites and blogs recorded higher PRs while some were downgraded and a few remains the same.

Yeah I agree I never really paid attention to any of that stuff, I write it because I enjoy it ya know.
All though I hate knowing there is a big fat 10 out there, seeing a 3 bugs me. I never liked he number 3, my old hockey number 5 would be nice though ;)

My site also increased from PR3 to PR 4. I was surprised, but happy with it. It’s nice that Google is updating more often, makes us web masters feel better, at least I do.
The last update, there were many people complaining, but now, I think it’s the opposite.

No idea tho why the upped PR. One blog went up to 2 and the other 3 to 1. One remained as is. Does it being an add-on domain be any reason? It has more content than 2 others, one of which have only 1 post. I haven’t been busy updating my sites after they have to be reset following some hackers handiwork..and changed the format to WP blog format hoping to revive the sites faster and not to struggle with html etcetera. Other commitments however limited my online time.
What’s in your opinion really warrant that PR upgrade?
It’s very difficult to fully understand Google’s pagerank algrothim.
The way I see it, Google like to rank up new blogs these days and if the new blogs don’t do their homework, they will be taken down again.
Anyway, don’t worry so much about your blog PR. It’s the traffic that is more important :)
